The Year Of "Lights"! 2019.
“This year, you are going to shine ever so brightly,” Pastor Chris says, declaring 2019 to be ‘The Year of Lights’.
The New Year’s Eve Service with Pastor Chris came moments ago as the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, declared 2019 to be ‘The Year of LIGHTS’! “This year, you are going to shine ever so brightly,” the LoveWorld President said, further qualifying the prophetic insight for the year.
In defining the word for the Year 2019, Pastor Chris shared four important things about light:
- Light is for illumination.
- Light gives leadership.
- Light gives empowerment.
- Light is for signs and wonders.
These four types of the light, as described by the man of God, have positioned a most glorious year for LoveWorld citizens and participants in the service all over the world.
“We’re entering into a new phase of the Church’s ministry in the earth, like as never been known before — a dimension of the glory of God in the earth beyond what the Church had known,” Pastor Chris declared in prophecy. The man of God went on to hint that powerful angels like, have never been on the earth before are being released to help the Church accomplish the Father’s desires. “You’re going to see signs and wonders like never before.
Notice 4 Important things Light brings to us:
1. Light is for illumination.
Illumination produces clarity, refinement, innovation, sound judgment.
2. Light gives Leadership :
Shine means to admonish, to inspire, to teach, to send out light, all this is leadership. Light gives guidance. (Daniel 12:3-4 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Those who are [spiritually] wise will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead many to righteousness, [will shine] like the stars forever and ever.
John 8:12 Amplified Bible (AMP) Jesus Is the Light of the World.
12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
Matthew 28:19-20 J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)
But Jesus came and spoke these words to them, “All power in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. You, then, are to go and make disciples of all the nations and baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you and, remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”
3. Light gives empowerment because light is energy.
What's energy? Capacity to perform. Light empowers you. To preach and teach Christ is everything to us;
Colossians 1:28-29 (J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS) So, naturally, we proclaim Christ! We warn everyone we meet, and we teach everyone we can, all that we know about him, so that, if possible, we may bring every man up to his full maturity in Christ. This is what I am working at all the time, with all the strength that God gives me.
This is the energy of God at work in you.
2 Corinthians 3:4-6 (J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)
We dare to say such things because of the confidence we have in God through Christ, and not because we are confident of our own powers. It is God who makes us competent administrators of the new agreement, and we deal not in the letter but in the Spirit. The letter of the Law leads to the death of the soul; the spirit of God alone can give life to the soul.
4. Light is for signs and seasons. Genesis 1:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 Then God said, “Let there be light-bearers (sun, moon, stars) in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be useful for signs (tokens) [of God’s provident care], and for marking seasons, days, and years; 15 and let them be useful as lights in the expanse of the heavens to provide light on the earth”; and it was so, [just as He commanded].
Isaiah 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwelleth in Mount Zion.
