The man or woman who is born again is a new creation. He is likened to a new kind of breed. He is a new species of being that never existed before. So when you're born again, it doesn't mean you've taken up a new religion; rather, it means you have received a new kind of life. That means your humanity has been supplanted by divinity.
What Jesus came to give us is real. Being born again isn't being renovated or refurbished. For a man to be born again, it means his old life has been completely replaced with a new life. So, it is an actual replacement. This is what the Bible teaches, in 2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP) where it says, Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!
The new life in Christ Jesus is one of unending string of victories. It is living the triumphant life naturally. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 2:14; (AMP) "But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere," This is the life of a new creation; always living the victorious life by virtue of the Word of God in his spirit which is voiced out in faith.
The new creation is superior to Satan and his schemes. The Bible says in Romans 6:14, (AMP) "For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy]."
That means the new creation doesn't have any problem with sin. He can choose not to lie or commit any form of sin and he won't. Similarly, the new creation does not fail because failure is inconsistent with his nature just as barking is inconsistent with the cat's nature.
What's more, the new life in Christ is devoid of diseases and infirmities: The Bible says in Romans 8:11 (AMP) "And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you". No germ, bacterium, virus or disease can thrive in his body successfully because his body has become the temple of the Holy Ghost; the Spirit of God dwells in him.
If you are born again and you haven't begun to experience some of these things I mentioned, what you need is to be guided by the Word and soaked in it. On the other hand, if you're not born again, you need to be, because these things can only happen when you have the New life in Christ Jesus. Praise God!
